DID  YOU  GET  A   BILL ?

Unless other arrangements for payment have been made, we bill for our services separately from the surgeon.  We receive information from both the hospital and your surgeon about your preferred payment option (i.e. insurance, self-pay, etc).  Please note that we typically bill for services about 2 months after the Date of Surgery. 

INSURANCE

Unlike most surgical assistants in the Denver Metro area, we have chosen to be contracted providers with many of the major insurance companies. We do this primarily as a courtesy to you, the patient.  This is a partial listing of the companies that we are currently in-network with:

Our self pay rate is $150.00 an hour which will be applied in three cases: (1) You do not have active insurance at the time of surgery and have made payment arrangements prior to surgery. (2) There are insurance companies that WILL NOT allow surgical assistants to be contracted providers (i.e. Mail Handlers, TriCare, NALC, etc). (3) There are some procedures that insurance companies have determined are not medically necessary to have an assistant. However, your surgeon believes that it is in your best interests to have an assistant. You will be notified PRIOR to surgery if this is the situation.

CO-PAYS/DEDUCTIBLES:

Any balance not paid by your insurance carrier will be your responsibility. This will include all co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and out of network expenses.  If necessary, we will make every effort to set-up a reasonable payment plan.  Please feel free to call or e-mail our Office Manager, Sandy,  to set- up a payment plan.
